The breakout of Imperial

I still had my two mercenary escorts. I informed them of the plan. A break through Stith and into Octavian space. I installed FFs into all my MODx slots. I needed all the speed I could for this one. This choice paid off.

We did the run through Aman hook and up. I bagged a manta on the way.

Before the jump into Stith I informed my escorts that it will be full burn all the way to Diluted reaches. They understood what I was going to do.

I was shocked and dumbfounded with what happened next.

We completed the jump. DSA were waiting. All 4 HFs plus Jerhico21 in the bomber. I cranked the burners and let go with the FFs. Game on.

The DSA were converging on me. I kept up the heat. I was closing on the gate, DSA were hot and heavy on my heels. After jumping, they would have weapons distance on me as I accelerated out of the gate [even with an empty tow]. I lined up my mark and opened at flank speed. Weapon fire was now impacting my shields. I cycled targets and just saw the DSA bees all lined up behind me. I did not bother with missiles, we were just going too fast on full burners.

I approached the gate, they stopped following. I was being armoured. What was going on? They broke off. Where were my escorts?

While DSA was busy trying to down me. My two escorted lined up behind all of them then suddenly unleashed their weapons. Jerhico21 was target of choice.

DSA was confused.

It was just enough time for Zandor in his Tempest to armour and kill Jerhico21. songsiren was downed but Zandor emerged into the regulated Diluted reaches - HOWLING in laughter.

DSA the premier PvP squad underestimated my escorts. They should have known. Both Zandor and Siren were with me when Lord and I were trapped in The Dark. While the bees were swarming all over me. My own bees got in the sting.

It was all worth it. I laughed all the way to Octavius Outpost where I started my money making ventures and finally returning to Quantar space to help with matter farms.
